I cried on the train to work this morning

I read the report on terrible fate of Baby P this morning, it felt like a stone in my stomach.

As a parent I find it very difficult reading about things like this. The catalogue of failure on the part of so many people makes me deeply angry and the unwillingness of any of them to take responsibility makes me sick.

Watching the Prime Minister try to play politics with this issue was one of the most demeaning things I have witnessed in parliament and I hope that when he watches the recording he will see just how crass his actions were.

Noone takes reponsibility any more.Brown is incapable of framing anything into anything other than some way to attack the Tories - when actually he needs to have a policy and common sense. One of the more disgusting things was Nick Robinson pretending Brown was right. Still, what do you expect from the BBC which is now so far from un-partisan as to make a nonsense of balance
